Ringing in the New Year

Last year we began our journey to Pinwheel Place. We did not know what the future held in store for us. However, we knew we could no longer stand on the sidelines while children suffered from abuse and neglect on a daily basis. We were very grateful to quickly find other people who shared our passion and dedication to ensure that all children feel safe, loved and valued and to know that they are not alone. With these dedicated volunteers and many local businesses by our side, we were able to host our first event within the community which helped spread the news about our nonprofit. This year we hope to include the community even more by hosting a variety of different events. One of these events is a pinwheel photography contest because as they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Another is #thejarproject which is a year-round event that encourages you to save your spare change to help Pinwheel place and the children we will serve We also hope to have people plant pinwheel gardens around New Jersey in honor of Child Abuse Awareness month. We still have ways to go, but we hope by the end of 2017 we will be able to help our first child. Keep checking our website for information and please continue with us on our journey. It is sure to be a year full of inspiration.
